I have a IBM Thinkcentre. My CPU meter is always running high. How can I lower it?.

In task manager, what is hogging the CPU... service or app names needed? This could be malware, but I dont want to junk to conclusions. Also what is the hardware specs or make/model computer.

OP is running Windows 7, so Speed Fan should work fine.
He can try Sped Fan to see if the results differ.
