alright so today every time I tried to download some .rar files using WINRAR well every time I would start downloading it the estimated time of the download would continue to rise until it would say download interrupted then it would give me the option of resuming the download so when I click that it would do the same thing it did the first time but after it got interrupted the second time I was not given the option to resume so it wont finish downloading I've tried this with multiple other .rar files and have the same outcome I have used malwarebytes anti malware and got rid of all malware on pc which wasn't much and I have defragmented my hard drive then I unistalled WINRAR and used 7zip and it still had the same outcome what gives plz help me I need to be able to download .rar files I also downloaded google chrome and it has the same outcome and I can download really short .rar files but I cant download longer ones like .5gb wont work that's to big but really small ones work just fine

7. Absence of symptoms does not mean that everything is clear.
If you can't access the internet with your infected computer you will have to download and transfer any programs to the computer you're using now and transfer them to the infected computer with a CD-RW or a USB storage device. I prefer a CD because a storage device can get infected. If you use a storage device hold the shift key down while inserting the USB storage device for about 10 secs. You will also have to transfer the logs you receive back to the good computer using the same method until we can get the computer back on-line.
