Title: NO PICTURES IN EMAILS

I have a problem when someone send's me an email, if they send me a picture of something, all i get most time' s is a square box with a red cross in the top left hand corner,  ??? which is most annoying,  >:(  the sender tells me it is a lovely picture or it is cute, :)  but there is nothing cute about what i'm seeing  >:(
