Title: The new iTunes won't work?
Post by: HayleyR on October 19, 2014, 01:24:00 PM
iTunes created an update for iTunes which I installed the other day. I attempted to open it today to add a file to my library but it wouldn't open, a window opens saying "The procedure entry point *blabla* could not be located in the dynamic library" and then another pops up saying "iTunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes."

I uninstalled iTunes and downloaded again, the same messages appear. I have tried to restore to previous versions but again the messages come up.

I will show print screens also, I would appreciate anyones help! thank you :)

Try using system restore using a restore point before you updated iTunes. You might also want to post on the Apple support forum.

Thank you so much for the help but I've just managed to figure it out!

Simply uninstalling from "programs and features" on control panel doesn't work. It still leaves iTunes files on "Program Files" on the Local Disk, so I deleted all iTunes folders on my Local Disk, then reinstalled - and it worked  ;D

Thanks again :)
