Title: Not sure....
Post by: Zedz on November 16, 2014, 01:22:26 PM
I'm a nolifer gamer, I have a very expensive PC. Every 10th minute, my internet goes down for just 2 seconds.. Which means I disconnect's from any game im playing, it is very annoying.
This is not an issue with my internet, I was at a lan party at the WoW expansion, and it seem's like I kept disconnecting there too. And they did not. I tried both cable & wireless.
What could I try to do, to fix this?

What info do you have to share about this computer? Sounds like a custom build if a gaming rig, so all info you have on the build would be good to share with us all.

A number of things can cause the issue you are having. I had a overclocked system once that would have com hickups, and it wasnt until I brought it back to native clock that the issue disappeared. Later I found out that the hickups were caused by a memory stick that didnt play well with the overclock.

I'd run memtest86 on this system to check for memory issues.

Other things can also cause this issue, but before I post a bunch of guesses... I would liek to get some more info on the system + OS the system is running?

Is this system running overclocked at all and have you run a memory test on it yet such as memtest86?
