Title: Need help finding adware/ other problimatic programs

I've had this laptop for over a year, It's survived much (soup, falls, etc) but I've noticed that it has some suspicious behaviors

When trying to search in chrome it REALLY lags

my cpu acts stranege, Looks like the grand canyon, a low spot ten a plateu over and over again, each lasts bout 5 seconds, my fan also kicks up.

And I've also got a clicky virus? If i click on a page a new page comes up with adware?
