Title: urgent need help

Hi sir/madam


Hi need urgent help for excel formula. I have data from cell A2 to A11 and I want that top 35% will get $4000.00. and next 35% will get $2000.00. and rest 30% will get $5000.00 in cell B2 to B11.


Please help me urgent

Please clarify this better... what cells exactly get what percentages for column A2 through A11


With 35%, 35%, and 30% of 10 cells you have 3 cells for your 30% and 7 cells for 2 x 35% for the 70% remainder in which you have a cell that overlaps the 2 groups for 2 different monetary amounts, which makes no sense.

Yes, more info is needed.   Is the data in A2 through A11 sales by salesman?  Are the percentages supposed to be based on total sales of all sales people?  If so, what cell contains the grand total of sales?  If not, please clarify.
