Title: Shift key

I'm a real novice with a computer. I must have touched the wrong key but don't know which one. When I want the @ sign I now have to press shift2. Anyone help?

You're probably going to need to be more specific since in the default US keyboard layout that is how you type the @ sign. How did you do it before?

Have just this second found out that my OAPartner downloaded Windows 10 while I was out. Funny thing is he's 10 times more of a novice than I am. Bless him !!!!!!

I'm not certain what keyboard layout you are using. As I mentioned, with the Default US Keyboard layout, an @ sign is created by tying Shift and the 2 key.

Evidently you are familiar with another keyboard layout. *Blocked Russian URL*/english/layouts]here are some keyboard layout images[/url]. You'll want to change your keyboard layout to the one you are familiar with- there are a few there which appear to have the @ key as a "primary" key label.

Hi

If you go to the keyboard beside the time on your pc, you should be able to get into language preferences.
Then change your keyboard layout to "English (UK) or .. (Ireland)"
