Title: Epson WF-2530 printer problem
Post by: hamer on February 23, 2016, 01:11:51 PM
Hi guys,

This is my first post on the forum, so here goes.

I have an Epson WF 2530 printer which I bought new from Tesco's around 18 months ago and up to now it has done everything that it's been asked to do, untill today.

When I want to print a document it just rolls out a blank sheet and an error report on the lcd display says " Paper out. Load paper and press OK "

even though there is ample paper present.

Just to rule it out, I have taken the printhead out, cleaned and replaced it as well as replaced the ink  cartridges

Another furum I viewed says that it is a fault with the paper sensor however I've no idea where to locate it.

Any suggestions would be welcome.

      Thanks
         Hamer.

Have you tried with a single sheet of paper? I have had issues with HP printers where if you have too much paper it will not work.

Allan,
Yea been on to Epson online live support, told him the problem, he asked my post code then gave me contact details of nearest approved service shop, complete waste of time if I am honest.
