Where to get driver for Sharp Printer AR-5618?
-
At the Sharp site...
-
running Windows 8 and with a good internet connection the system should find the driver. Are you sure it did not find the driver? What happens?
Sharp has a web site with drivers for current models.
Try:
http://siica.sharpusa.com/product-downloads

Thanks. The driver is not available for Win 8 (64-bit) and above. That's the real issue.
-
Please confirm the model of your printer. A search at http://www.sharpusa.com/CustomerSupport/search.aspx?q=AR-5618 does not find a printer with that model #.
-
When I upgraded to Win 8 I had to buy a new printer.

How old was your printer, SuperD? What brand and model was it?

I suggest you contact Sharp and find out if your printer is compatible with your OS.

It was a Panasonic KX7100 about 10 years old.

Kemdas model # doesn't even exist....may be why the driver search is futile...
