Hi all, have this problem for a while now. Ram usage is extremely high while PC is in idle.I have 16GB and 99% ram usage and 70-80% is quite often. When i start the computer it's fine and then it starts slowly to increase to as i said 70-80 and finally 99%. Computer doesn't lag or lacks of performance even when 99% of the ram is used ?! If you know how to fix that s..t pls:) aa and that happens in win 10 and win 7 also:(

You might have the problem I had earlier in the year. BC helped me fix it with the microsoft link. The other link is my post last feb. Looking in task manager you should be able to find whatever it is that is hogging the memory.

However its very odd that the issue affects Windows 10 as well on same system. Guessing you scanned for virus's and its clean.

Whats the RAM usage being reported by ? ?
-
I read that RAM usage though windows task manager and CoreTemp.

Used Avast to scan the system and found something and deleted it. It was windwos/kj/.... after that i erased the whole folder. Same result.

Finally I fixed my problem simply by reinstalling windows and going back to win 10
Even when I open few tabs both from firefox and chrome still no more than 3 gb of memory usage.
This problem is fixed but now audio problem rises with realtek codec not supporting dts in win 10
Gonna swallow it and move forward
Thank you for your opinions and help.
Cheers

If you re-installed you need to re-install ALL drivers...
Perhaps this is the cause of the sound issues....
-
Did that of course :) Tried few versions and some modified ones:(

They should come from the MBoard manuf. site...not RealTek.
