I was trying to open a file on my computer and it wouldn't open up, I went into "open with" and tried several of the options it gave me. When I tried PDF, it changed a lot of my files to PDF. I use Irfanview a lot, and now those files won't open with it. I don't like PDFs. How do I change them back??
Thank you

If you look at the file extension I doubt it actually changed the extensions. Instead you have an issue with the program that supports the files be associated with Adobe or some other PDF handler. If you right-click on the file can you tell it to open it with the other program of choice and then select the check box to always handle those file types with the program of choice?

When I do it, it won't open, I get a decode error that says: Can't load Plugin "PDF.DLL"! Please install or update Plugins from Irfanview homepage!

Your viewing PDF's in Irfanview ? ?
-
Rite clik a PDF...select Open With...and select Acrobat from the drop down list...

No, they are not in Irfanview, I want to be able to view them in Irfanview, but can only view them in Acrobat Reader. They were not PDFs before.

I'm not following you...if they weren't PDF's what were they ? ?...and how did they get changed to PDF's ? ?
