its been a long time since i was able to install a cumulative update i always get the same error during installation 'installation could not be completed undoing changes' i only have this problem with cumulative updates....and i made sure that services are running...so what can i do? 64 bit and i have enough space for installation

win 10 64 bit home and yes its legit got it from microsoft's official page i dont remember exactly what the error message was but something like 0x800....maybe

all they did was remotely connect my pc to someone and check for updates...i don't see how that is helpful so am asking you guys

If you talked to them they should have fixed the issue...not just checked your updates.
They do have a Hotfix for it...

nevermind i fixed it turns out i needed to update my win 10 from 1607 build to 1703 and update it to the last version manuallyi did it using the iso file everything worked!

If they had remoted they would have known which build was installed...
