This could be about networking, but I put it here in Off Topic.
Some time back I dropped my .COM domain and got a .CLUB domain name for my blog.
I lost my cheap server, so I have to get another.
Again, I had trouble getting the.CLUB domain to propagate.
Is there some strange reason for this?
I found a link that seems to provide some information:
(https://www.pickaweb.co.uk/kb/why-propagation-delay-occures-and-causes-inaccessibility-of-website/Why Domain Propagation Delay Occurs And Causes Website Inaccessibility[/url)When you change hosting company you need to change the master dns server for your domain name.
This new name servers will be found by ISP DNS servers only on the next dns cache update.
Some ISPs take days to update cache. So during this time site will be inaccessible through that ISP.
Well, I wonder if thee is more than that. Does it make a difference if I have a new TLD? Recently some new TLDs are available. Like:
.BLOG
.CLUB
.GURU
.LIFE
.ONLINE
.TECH
And many others. Now here is my question. Is it possible that some crazy nerds who program routers and servers thought that a TLD is always two or three letters and those servers or routers choke on the TLD with more than four letters? :-\
Any ideas? :)

Have you contacted your Hosting service yet ? ?

As a matter of fact I did.
I took them awhile to gt back to me. So much for he "24/7" service.
So they wail let me send an e-mail 24/7 ::)
- When they answer is another day or two.
I now will promise not to buy anything on the weekend.
