Title: I need some suggestion.
Post by: ufaforwork2 on July 16, 2017, 06:13:49 AM
Hi ! I'm Thierry . I don't have a lot of spare time, but when I do I like something relatively uncomplicated. Graphics need not be good. I suppose what I'd really like is something like civilization I - highly addictive, being able to play half asleep, computer opponents only, and maybe turn-based. I don't want anything with a steep learning curve. It has to work on my 64bit machine. Buy, free, or whatever. Willing to pay if it fills the bill. แทงบอลเงินสด (http://www.ufa365.com/แทงบอลเงินสด/)
Thanks in advance for any help.

P.S. Don't steer me to emulators please. I've set up three of them for Civilization I, and they were all an unsatisfactory pains in the arse.

Game I am currently playing is a game that is free, has dailies, and pvp, and is kind of like civilization but different. If you pay to play instead of free play you will have advantages above that of the free players. I have been playing it for free for about 9 months and created 4 accounts on it. I can trade materials between my 4 accounts to help myself out or trade with other people in the auction house which is material trade one thing for another with 1 for 1 up to 2 for 1 or 1 for 2.

Forge of Empires is the game. Its flash browser based and will run on just about any computer that has the latest adobe flash installed. https://us0.forgeofempires.com/page/

I would suggest the computer specs be a Core 2 Duo or Athlon 64 x2 2.0Ghz  with 512MB Video RAM or better Desktop computer or better. And if its a laptop that it be one that is no older than about 4 years old.

I tried this game with Linux and it wont work because it requires the currently latest Windows platform Adobe Flash installed or else it gives a error message that the Adobe Flash is out of date.

I have played this game on Windows XP, Windows 7 32 & 64-bit, as well as Windows 10 64-bit and no problems. But of the system specs are weak, the game will lag because it is CPU core intensive as flash uses a single core of a multiple core system to process.

Systems that were laggy were:

Core 2 Duo 1.6Ghz Laptop with Intel 945 Graphics 2GB RAM, 256MB Video RAM shared with system - Windows 7 32-bit
Intel Atom n280 1.66Ghz Netbook with Intel Graphics, 2GB RAM, 256MB Video RAM shared with system RAM - Windows XP 32-bit Home SP3

Systems that played it well were:

Athlon 64 x2 4450B 2.3Ghz 4GB RAM - Windows 7 64-bit with Radeon HD 5450 1GB Video Card
Athlon II x4 620 2.6Ghz 4GB RAM - Windows 7 64-bit with Geforce 730 GT 2GB Video Card
Core 2 Duo E6600 2.4Ghz 4GB RAM - Windows 7 64-bit with Geforce 9800GT 512MB video Card
Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4Ghz 6GB RAM - Windows 7 64-bit with Geforce GTX 260 video card
Core i3 3.4Ghz 4GB RAM - Windows 7 64-bit with Intel HD Graphics Integrated
Core i3 2.1Ghz 8GB RAM - Windows 10 64-bit New Laptop with Intel HD Graphics Integrated

In screenshots below... The first is a general layout of the city of 1 of 4 accounts and many items there generate stuff, Materials, Supplies, Money, Forge Points, Medals, and other stuff. Next picture if of current summer event in which I won a rare item. This item has multiple abilities as shown, as well as last picture is my small but strong army that i have on defense mode currently. I get rare or higher level than my current level fighters from events and other various ways. This account is a manufacturer of goods mostly, but i have to defend my goods otherwise someone can pillage once per 24 hours. I am just about never pillaged because I have a good defense. If pillaged they steal whatever item or items were ready to be clicked on no building damage so you just need to click to make more or whatever was stolen. Fighting is turn based and randomly generated turn based. You can have the bot play for you or you can decide how to fight your battles. Its a playing field with you on one side of screen and the enemy on other, there is ranged and melee you up your crit and armor by buffing your city with silver from tavern or permanently increase the stats though towers and stuff that  up your defenses and critical strikes. Additionally each type of  fighter has abilities, some such as this rogue can be tricky and so while this rogue can instantly kill a player with high damage with 10x to 12x the hit points of most I am up against, his armor is 1 which means he is dead easily, however if you read the special ability you will see that depending on army he may not be instantly killed and can still fight 1 move if army is set up a certain way.

This game is one that doesnt take much brains to play, but also has the ability to make you think about what kind of army you have and how to fight to win or set up a proper defense to protect your city from people pillaging. It has choices of what time intervals to use for making stuff such as 5 minutes, 15 minutes, 1 hour, 4 hours, 8 hours, 24 hours, and some have 2 days to make items. When you gather your goods you select what interval to make stuff under, such as your going to work, you can set it to 8 hours for each item that will make stuff while your away. get home from work and gather items minus any that were pillaged if defenses are weak.

There is lots more to this than what I shared. Its worth checking out since its free to play.
