Title: micro SD memory problem
Post by: moeinnemati on October 22, 2017, 10:10:40 PM
Hey guys,
I format my micro SD card, but whenever i insert it into my phone, all the stuff I just erased is recovered automatically and my memory becomes full of useless old data. What's the problem with my micro SD? Can it be a problem with my phone also?
thanks

Interesting ... How about performing a Format of the Micro SD instead of erasing and instead of the quick option for format uncheck quick erase if you see that option and see if this fixes it.

You could also...
 - try another SD micro chip
 - erase it using utilities on the phone.

The smart phones and not legally required to be compatible with anything other them selves. That is, with regard to file storage and erasure. The phone might have its own way of removing files by some method that works for the phone.

Some references say the the Android file system is more like Linux and not like  MS-DOS. That would explain why something that looks right in Windows might not work in the Android system.

The above suggest smartphones might use

YAFFS

Which means yet another flash file system.
