Title: adjusting the size of quick start icons and other

Where can you adjust the view size of items on your screen, quick launch icons, start menu box, etc.

Just wiped and reloaded a Dell Deminsion 5100, OS Win XP Home, SP 2. These items seem to be much smaller on this Dell than on my own computer, XP Pro, SP 2.

Say you click on the "Start" icon and the menu box that opens is much smaller on the Dell than on mine, it seems that way with all items.

Try right clicking in your task bar, properties, general, show small icons untick.

Fordtruckmaniac....Do you have the screen resolution set the same ....It almost sounds like its at a higher resolution .

Fordtruckmaniac......Go into the display and change the resolution .........I just did it on mine and the result is as you described .

Sorry, I just got back to my computer.

The box for the larger icons was checked in the "customize start menu" box.

The resolution issue fixed it.

The funny thing was it was big when I first fired it back up. Then it got small somewhere along loading software from disks back into it.

Not online or anything, so nothing got it.
