Title: What PC games are you playing?

Post by: DaveLembke on April 05, 2018, 11:13:06 AM: I play a bunch of games. I get offers from Humble Bundle in which i can set my own price tags for games and buy them inexpensively. They offer DRM-Free games as well as others that give you keys to activate on Steam. I play lots of games on Steam and so I buy up games cheap and add them to my Steam account. Part of the money paid goes to charity. I also play games through Origin.

Occasionally I will also play games like World of Warcraft, Rift, Aion, Rappelz, and some other MMORPG games.

Also for offline gaming I play Unreal Tournament 99, Diablo 2, Diablo 1, and a few other titles.

I tried playing the games like Hearthstone but found it kind of frustrating because it mainly came down to whoever has the strongest decks winning, so the free players like myself weren't paired with other free to play players and so its PAY-to-WIN where those who spend money have killer decks that wipe out people like myself and while I was skilled to beat other players when the deck played the cards out in the right random order, those who paid money had an unfair advantage and so I left.

For card type of games, I found shadowverse to be fun, and liked the dark storyline humor of the little girl talking to her what she thinks is her dead parents but it seems as it might be an evil spirit pretending to be them to control her storyline which is necromancing in form. https://shadowverse.com/

The best necromancer though has to be Diablo 2 gameplay. ;D

The only thing is, the older I get, it seems the better the AI gets. Couldn't be me, could it?

I'm one of those rare few that don't use the PC for games (not any more).
the last one I did though was Dark Reign by Auran (if anyone remembers that gem from the late 1990's).
loved how you could edit the TXT files to level up all your gear.

Ha Ha ,,,, nods ... I dd stuff like that before long ago too. Last game to cheat like that was Diablo 2. There is a guy that you can spend money and gamble with for better rare gear. I would save my game, and move my save game file. Then gamble and if the gamble was good then I would gamble again after saving the new good gamble game file elsewhere. If the gamble was bad I would copy the save game file overtop of the last and try again. I had one heavily gamble geared Necromancer from this gamble cheating of control over the save game states. ;D

I'm currently playing Dota 2 in PC now. I've been playing this game for 10 years. I remember how we play it on WarCraft Frozen Throne and the Aegis can still be bought from secret NPC. From all the games that I've play, I'm stuck on this game and I think I'm gonna grow old playing this one.

Might want to look at Can You Run It (https://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri). If they have the game you want to play in their list of games to test your specs against what they have as recommended specs / min specs for that particular game, it might give you an idea of how your computer may perform for it.
