Title: Windows unable to start
Post by: jerin123 on May 23, 2018, 04:02:12 PM
I see this screen when I turn on my computer. All I know is it showed some kind of message " scanning for drive" reached about 50% and this showed up. Anybody know how I can fix this issue? Is it possible for me to do something from the BIOS? Any help is much appreciated.

what Windows version is that, looks old?
from what I can make out of the BSoD, looks like your drive has gone belly up, or at least the boot record of the active partition.

You should try this:

1- Do an improper shutdown and restart your PC
2- You should see an option to go to Recovery mode
3-Once in Recovery mode, Open command prompt and run this command: sfc /scannow
3- When it ends restart your PC and check if it boots correctly.
