Title: Folders in widdows 7 problem.
Post by: grounded on July 15, 2018, 09:26:18 PM
I download my pictures to the pc, edit, and place in a folder such as People, floral, insects etc, then if I want to send a picture to a website  I do so by opening the appropriate folder, usually there is no problem,  however sometimes the folder is not there, and some of the folders now have a C in brackets behind the title and will not open, with a note saying the folder may have been moved,  it is extremely frustrating for a novice like me, any help would be very much appreciated. PS, windows 7, Google Chrome, and photoscape editor are what I use.

what software are you using to look at those list of photos?
sounds like it may be Picaso or something similar.
try using Windows Explorer (Windows key + E is the keyboard shortcut) to start it.

perhaps a screenshot may shed more light on it all.

hello mark,

grounded's problem sounds similar to mine - 8/17/18 Download Problem (myming).

my problem was never concluded either.

What do you want a screenshot of? I use PkotoScape, when after editing I clik save, in the drop down box I have to select a folder but often the folder I want is not listed, frustrating.

I was thinking a shot of this "C in brackets behind the title" may be better presented as a image rather than described.
it may help show the issue and trigger some fresh insights.

HI Mark, yesterday I couldnt use my computer, Was told my windows 7 was not genuine,  a trip to a repair shop fixed it, and the C in brackets is not there now, however when trying to forward an image  some of the folders are still missing.  looks like I will have to live with it Thanks for your trouble.
