Title: i need get the Kings Quest games-will they work

i have Windows XP, will an older game such as the Kings Quest series work on my computer?
theres were my favorite games when i was younger, and i know absolutely NOTHING about computers, so i dont know how to tell if it will work by looking at the requirements or anything like that.
i was just wondering if any of you had tried yourselves.

XP can run on a computer as old as a Pentium II 233Mhz... Thing is you need to look at the system you have for what hardware you have and then see if the hardware matches the game requirements.
