Title: HDD problem
Post by: ineedsomehelp2 on September 06, 2018, 10:05:39 AM
Hello peeps, I used this forum in the past and the community is absolutely great!

I am having problems with my 1TB HDD.

I have used it many times before but when I start up the computer the HDD gives out a 'static' noise and the computer automatically goes into the BIOS and says that there is no boot device available.

I used the HDD in another PC with a completey different motherboard then put it back into its original PC, I wonder if that is what is causing this.

I can post a video of the noise if that helps you guys.

Thanks!

Good day

Can you post the video please, if the video shows your drive make and model that would be a great help.

Thankyou

I put it down to 'dynamic', the noise changes and is random.'static' it's repetitive.perhaps the 'click of death' :(
