The backup software that came with my portable Seagate drive only does full backups and with 177 gigs of photos and music that takes a while. I want to back up only files that change, some weeks nothing changes, some weeks I'll add two new songs, some weeks I'll add 20 photos. What is the best method of backup incremental or Differential? What is the easiest to restore if I need too?
Thanks

A differential backup backs up only the files that changed since the last full back. For example, suppose you do a full backup on Sunday. ... Incremental backups also back up only the changed data, but they only back up the data that has changed since the last backup — be it a full or incremental backup.

If in doubt, go with incremental. :D
