My apple mouse does everything it's supposed to do on my mac OS X except to drag ANYTHING TO ANYPLACE! Example-can't drag icon on desktop down to trash. Mouse DOES do this on another computer so it isn't a problem with the mouse. Does anyone know why I can't drag and how do I fix it? Please help!
Thank you, Weewishme

Hello, I'm not too familiar with macs, i have an old apple plus and i believe that with a mac you need to download software to click and drag. I'm not sure why it's like this but I guess Mac Is different from PC in someways.
Here's a website I found, look it over and see if it helps...

It wouldent be a problem with the mouse, that doesent exactly have to do with dragging and dropping. Make sure that (if you have OS X ) you are not using the clasic finder, and check your finder (system) settings to make sure drag and drop is enabled.

When you click on an icon, is it highlighted?
