Title: Spyware corporate network protection
Post by: Burton1J on April 01, 2019, 10:42:35 PM
I know there's a spyware plugin for websense that provides network level protection against spyware, but before spending $11,000 on that plugin I was wondering if anyone else knew of an alternative.  It has to protect the whole network, be supportable and work decently well.

Appreciate your feedback.

Best method is to have something like a Dell SonicWall in place that blocks for all systems at the network level which controls all data in and outbound, (assuming users are unable to install software bundled with spyware from flash drive etc. ), however its pricey. If you only have a few systems then "affordable" method is to have each system licensed with software to block infection and installation of malware and spyware bundled apps.

How many computers and servers do you need to protect and what OS versions are they running to determine whats best for your needs?
