Title: Regular As Clockwork

This started before Christmas.

My computer runs from the moment I get up until I go to bed. Most of the morning is spent doing housework or shopping. Once these are out of the way I'll check my emails and my RSS news feeds. I  may spend sometime working on the computer writing short stories or looking at or uploading photos on Flickr and a whole host of other things such as working on Photoshop for example.

For most of the time my computer although switched is more or less dormant, with only my browser running so I can check my emails or the news feeds. I may occasionally do some work on a story I'm working on or spend sometime using Photoshop.   

It was around Christmas that I started getting a message on my monitor screen, which said "Your computer is running low on memory, save these programs..." At first I thought nothing of it, on the safe side I saved whatever work I was doing and then I restarted the PC. The following night at around 19:40 the same message appeared so I did the same as the night before, The following night I had it again and I've been getting it ever since at exactly the same time. Even when the only program I'm using is my browser.

My memory stats:

3072 Megabytes Usable Installed Memory

Slot 'DIMM0' has 1024 MB
Slot 'DIMM1' has 2048 MB

You should need a DEEP SCAN of your PC with a premium antivirus.

Premium or free, do the scan.

Firstly thanks to all for your advice. I have four versions of AVG which I'm having issues with that I've never had before.

avg_free_x86_all_2015_ltst_222:

I clicked on the link and got a 502 Bad Gateway, to double check I went to a second browser and got the same response.

avg_idp_stf_all_85_276: This platform is currently not supported.

AVg_Protction_Free_1005: Installation failed.

avg_free_stb_en_8_15:

This one makes me laugh.

Connection issue. Setup is unable to detect a working Inernet connection. Please make sure that you are connected to the Internet and click Retry to try again.

When I did I was returned to the above.

I'd be grateful if anyone can suggest an alternative.

On another matter, I'm having difficulty uninstalling Segurazo Realtime Protection Lite. Any suggestions?

Sounds like you have Segurazo malware.

Segurazo is considered a virus by many users due to the nature of how it appeared in their system. Victims report increased malware activity appearing together with Segurazo Antivirus, amid prompts that Segurazo can remove said malware.

This program seems to most commonly get distributed through program bundles – a very commonly used technique for spreading free, and potentially unwanted software. The app gets included in some installer for another program and the opt-out for Segurazo is hidden.

Even when you think you have deleted it, and can re-install itself if you do not remove certain core files that are left behind.

Thanks ST according to my control panel,  I've managed to uninstall Segurazo. Can you please advise me where I can remove the core files.

You also have Win Defender built in to Win 7...from the Start menu type defender into the search bar and hit enter.
In preferences i have mine set to run every nite @ 2 AM...
Make sure to update it 1st.

In the instructions it says to run all items from an elevated Admin prompt...did you miss that step cause thats what the error message illustrates.
