Title: nVIDIA driver
Post by: Marlene2 on January 23, 2006, 09:06:29 PM
I'm trying to find the driver that supports:

nVIDIA GeForce4 Ti 4600 (MSI G4Ti4600)   I reformatted drive and reloaded ME and the graphics are distorted.  I'm thinking I need to reinstall the driver for this card.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Marlene

You probably should just re-install it. Or, re-configure your video settings to something lower. Also, check to make sure you are on 32-bit.

Here's the latest driver from nVidia for your system: http://www.nvidia.com/object/win9x_81.98.html

I disagree with the previous post's comment about 32 bit.  He's referring to the 32-bit setting for color, the highest setting.  That's not going to resolve anything for you.  You could set your color at 16 bit and your eyes will probably not detect any difference whatsoever in your display, compared to 32 bit.

Thanks for the imput.  I'm downloading the driver now (big download).  Anyway, the suggestions on changing to 32 bit or anything else for that matter is not an option.  Since rebooting the only thing listed is 16 bit.  Before doing the reboot, she was running in a 256k true color.  Make any sense as to why we've only got 16 bit as an option now?
Thanks,
Marlene
