I am looking for a budget Windows 10 laptop that is compatible to use with my LG 4k UHD smart tv as a monitor.. My older Acer laptop worked with my older flat screen tv which was not a smart tv or 4k, but when I hooked my older Acer laptop to the LG 4k UHD smart tv, the tv screen has intermittent flicker and/or screen goes black for a second or two every few minutes. I'm not a gamer, I only use laptop for streaming movies, surfing web and email purposes, but want to continue to be able to use my LG 4k UHD smart tv as the monitor. Please advise what computer characteristics I would need that would allow tm to connect flawlessly to my LG 4k UHD smart tv without the flicker and intermittent screen blackouts.
