Title: installing grub

when i installed windows xp grub was removed.how can i install grub again?

How did you get grub in the first place? Likely with distro; which one are you using? How did you install it? SuSE, which I like, has some repair option which may help (on install CD).

It's very simple...in case of Redhat & Mandrake...which flavour u r using?

If it's Redhat & Mandrake...just insert your first CD..get into rescue mode....execute Grub or Lilo...in mandrake 9 U'll get direct option..if it's Redhat..get into /etc...execute grub or lilo....
