I would like to inform this board that as of today, 6:35 7/27/2006 Pacific Time, I have launched an Email to the Admin to notify him of our odd little glitch. The text of the Email follows:
We've got a serious problem in the FAQ Solution Database.
Only two pages of threads are being listed. The other threads that appear to be gone actually were proven to exist -- I managed to sticky QA0007 even though unstickied it would not appear. We found this out after I invoked my collection of backups. Nothing after page 2 shows up. And since I invoked my backups, it looks like there'll be some duplicate FAQ threads with my name on it that will need to be deleted.
Please fix this when you can; I'm sick of having to search for the threads!

Hopefully Nathan will be back soon to fix this stupid problem. Sadly, when he does all the threads I posted to restore threads I thought were lost will be removed, denting my PC a little. Oh, well, that's life. :)

Mac left a long time ago, and doesent appear to be coming back anytime soon. Mac was a problem causer, and it was hard to block him simply because he was behind a proxy.
Mac had many aliases: MASH, Franz, and many more.

Global Moderators, or GMODS have more power than a regular moderator.
They have access to the admin center, but access is limited.
My site has modified settings for GMODS.
This site probably still has its default values.
Therefor, a GMOD is a better choice than another admin.

Forum is about WebDesign. My forum is being stupid, and guests cant see the boards. If you have a username and password, you see all the boards.

Your site analysis:
Now, before I begin, I want to make sure that you know that C.R.A.P is not an insult.
C.R.A.P Stands for Continuity, Repetition, Arrangement, and I don't remember the P anymore.
The C.R.A.P in your website seems good.
The continuity and repetition seem to take place on three pages, the INTROduction page, the indox.htm page, and the contact page. The forum and art gallery dont seem to match with the continuity and repitition, they lead to different colors, and styles.
I like the alignment of your INTROduction page. And also of your indox.htm page.
The forum colors should be configured to match your sites page, and if possible, the gallery too.
The text on your site is great, and so is the color.
I also think that the forum should have your logo on it.
You may want to make the forum and gallery open on the same page, they open in new windows.
All together, your site is fine the way it is.

I get bored when the others section drains, and then I move onto the ComputerNews, then I read all the posts, then get bored of that, then move to WebDesign, then after that, it doesnt seem that there any place to go!

Both were banned by the Admin for violation of forum policy, repeatedly. The only ones who "ran them out" were themselves. It happens. Others have been banned as well.

When I tried to join this forum it said "God, what the *censored* do YOU want?" 'Er, please sir, may I join?' And it said "Urrrrgh, if you MUST!". So I joined. And it said "Sign in with this temporary password, then go to your profile and CHANGE it (presumably to something more memorable than 'SM10E59PPQ7' . . . . . woops!).
Yet the profile tablet presented on my screen makes no reference whatsoever to password. I first tried left clicking every clickable phrase and icon. Then I tried clicking on that squashed fruit-fly at the top-right corner of my screen - even though it's been there for weeks. Then I clicked on the dot of COMPUTERHOPE.com just in case, but still nothing. The password changer must be there somewhere I told myself. Maybe the technology has moved on and they now use 'invisi-messages' that are invisible to people with an IQ of less than 150. I think I might have read something about that in Popular Mechanics once.
Perhaps if I hadn't thrown away those throw-away colored spectacles they gave out to us kids at the flicks so we could watch 3D movies . . . . Y'know, before we had computers and stuff, and life was simple and uncomplicated.
I guess I'll just have to live with 'SM10E59PPQ7' . . . . . woops!

I called Nathan and left instructions on what to do under maintenance to get the board and Dilberts FAQ stuff back up. If he gets the message, and does this, a lot of missing posts are going to appear suddenly.

I received all e-mails, private messages, and yes even the cell phone call. I'm really sorry for not being able to address it faster. I've just been focusing on e-mail the last few months to help get it under control. However, I've now got most of that under control so now can focus more on forums.
Now that e-mail (apart from technical support) is under control I should be able to address all concerns a lot faster. However, feel free to e-mail: [email protected] anytime you encounter a problem and I'll get to it ASAP and if you really feel the urge and don't mind the long distance (unless you call for free on Skype) you can call me: 801-232-8181. However, unless absolutely critical I don't think that should be necessary.
*Both that e-mail and that cell number are used to address website/forum related issues not to ask computer support questions. ;)
