Title: No "DVD/CD-ROM Drives" category in Device Manager.

It just isn't there, and as a result, my CD drives don't seem to be working, although my BIOS seems to detect them well enough. Help?

Do you think it would help to give a few clues about the system? See below.

I am assuming you have not added any new hardware or played about in the BIOS. If that is not the case, please tell us what you did.
