I have made a boot disk using Windows XP Professional. I want to use to reformat my hard drive drive so I can run Windows XP and Linux (dual boot). I have done this before using a 98 boot disk. Unfortunately, I no longer have the Windows 98 boot disk and I am not familar with how XP does it. When I booted up using the XP boot disk and typed in fdisk, I received "This command iss not recognized". Any advice? Thank you. ::)

XP can do it all for you.

This web site didn't help. Thanks anyway. I am looking for exact hands on instruction. I don't want to search the web for answers.

You have to be kidding, the link I gave you offers a comprehensive guide to install XP.
You need to read the page and click on the next link for your circumstances and the following guide will show you every step including a screenshot that a child could easily follow.

And you need to take a little responsibility for solving your own problem - like reading and understanding what you are doing. ::)

The Geek Squad will install Windows for about $100 if you need more handholding than that.

while sitting in storage in his closet>Everytime he took it out to sell it the dog gone thing would be fragmented again.Of course back in them days he called himself Josh C. Hope the below site or this message don't get me in too much
trouble with your moderator.Below post is a full blown...LOL
