Welcome to Computerhope, persists.
Do you have a video card anywhere you can use?
You could help a lot by giving the manufacturer and
model of your computer.
-
Im not sure of the model number, the computer is very old (5or6years) and it was bottom of the line then. i believe the video card is a intel 82845G or something along the lines.

Although,I found that site below at intel gotta see to install.I am confused about no video if you didn't go into Bios.
Make a boot disk from bootdisk.com download the windows 98 SE OEM.
Remember the file you download creates a floppy boot disk.Don't just
copy it to the floppy disk.Double click on the download and let it create the floppy boot disk.
If you can't power down restart and boot with a floppy disk something has gone wrong in the BIOS.

By the way my computer will be 8 years old in January.
5 or 6 years old ain't that bad unless your a gamer.

You might need to newly install XP again. ;)

We're here to help Falco, aside from this thread being 2 weeks old without any further questions you could have easily advised the OP to start in safe mode to get back into his computer then run Everest to find out what video he has.
I suspect he has taken GX1_Man's good advice and done a clean install.
BTW, are you a good shot? :)
