Title: clicking links causes ie to not respond
Post by: cmfromlak on September 28, 2006, 02:30:54 PM
Hi everyone,
Whenever I am using IE, I cannot click on any link that will redirect me to another page because it will freeze up and I have to do ctrl-alt-del to end program which is "not responding". It doesnt matter what webpage I am on, this happens every time. Also, when IE is open, I am unable to open any other program, not even "my documents", "my pictures"...etc.
I have a very new Dell Dimension 1100, and I dont know what version of IE because it was already installed when I bought the computer.
I dont know much about computers just basic stuff so please forgive me if I have not given enough info.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Cindy

I would highly recommend you switch web browsers from IE to Firefox. (http://www.mozilla.com/firefox) Firefox is a much better, more secure browser. Give it a try a see what you think.  ;)

You'll never regret taking this important step in your online life.  ;)

Still do as Fed suggested, though. But don't bother with Internet Explorer again. I am sure Fed agrees!
