ok was at my college yesterday and when i connected to the wireless network it says i didnt have an default gateway.. but a few minutes later one magically was established. this happened in the library. then i shut the laptop down then went to class and turn it back on and connected to the network the same one but this time it said something disconected see attached info.
-
Are you using a list of prefered wireless networks?
-
nope just the one card that came with my laptop
-
I'm not talking of a card.
How many wireless networks are you connecting to?
-
just the one thats not protected. so only the one
-
And now it stopped working?
It sounds to me like you were trying to use the wrong details to connect to the network. Make sure you've chosen the right profile.
-
ok should i just delete that profile and let remake it ??
-
That's what I'd do. See if it works.
-
ok i will when i go to class tonight
-
Did you perhaps accidently disable the WNIC?
-
dunno how i do check
-
Have you removed any spyware prior to this problem?
-
i havent had spyware in months.. so no
