Title: While shutting down
Post by: NNEagle on November 04, 2006, 10:24:07 AM
When I shut down the computer or restart, I get the following messages.

dwwin.exe-dll initalization failed

The Application failed to initalize because the window station is shutting down.

Then a window opens up and needs me to canel or end as the prog is not responding, the prog is Abode Acrobat. I opt for end and then it shuts down or restarts.

This is on my work computer. Microsoft Windows XP Professional Version 2002, Service  Pack 2

Microsoft Office 2003

AVG, AdAware & Spybot search and destroyed are installed

Computer Intel(R) Pentium (R) 4 CPU 280 GHZ, 2.79 GHz, 248 MB of RAM. CPU is HP compaq. Hope I have given all needed information.

Thank you for your time

Better still, remove the Adobe Acrobat virus & install Foxit.

Your computer will love you :)

No problem, glad I could help you
I agree with Fed, get Foxit reader, it's a lot better than Adobe Acrobat IMHO
