Is this the company?

http://www.netgate.com/index.php?cPath=32

Most of their items seem to have user manuals available online. I have never used any of their products. How do you connect to the Internet?

I am also going to move this to networking so Rob can find you.

there is an ip conflict on anther computer on the network

Routers don't generally need installation CDs.  To set up a wireless router it is always easiest to connect first using a cable.  Then you can browse to whatever IP address the manual gives you, and use the web interface (they all have one).

Still stuck?  Report back.

What do you mean by "AOL seeing my router"?  Do you know?

That's not the right installation routine.  You are connecting via LAN (your router) not via dial up.  Do you have much in the way of instructions?  How about AOL's website?
