Title: TuneUp Utilities 2006 messed up my internet

my internet was working fine but my laptop was running a bit slow so i decided to run Tune Up Utilities 2006 and do all the test ( optimize, registry fix, everything )
after i restarted my windows, i couldnt surf the web anymore
I tried using IE , Avant Browser, both doesnt seem to work.
After like 10 to 15 secs top, my browser will close on its own
Please help.

Can you do a system restore to before you installed that silly thing?

Depends on which Windows he is running which we don't know as of yet either...

im running on windows XP

and no, i didnt do a restore point
my bad

i read somewhere that if u have a virus and u do a restore point, the virus will also be saved.
so i turned off my system restore point

Go to Start / Run and type in sfc /scannow and hit Enter...
Have that shiny XP CD handy as it will request it.
