Title: Recording from a Turntable?

I have a lot of old records that I would like to make CDs out of, is it possible to hook a turntable up to the computer and create CDs from records? And if possible, how would I go about doing it?

You'll need a soundcard (the better the quality of the card the better your sound will be) then you'll have to use software to import from the album.  Connect your turntable to the computer via the Audio In port of your card.  You may be able to use this http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ free software.
