Post by: almn on January 12, 2007, 02:16:01 PM
Hello,

I am interested in connecting my home network directly to An internet terminal(the ones where isp connect to), does anyone have a map of all the internet terminals in the US ? Is there a monthly fee to be connected ?
Thanks

You mean the ones that are expensive as *censored* and use fiber optics.

By "internet terminal" I presume you mean a leased line.  Do you have a spare $10,000 a year?

What would the $10,000 be used for ??
Is it just to be plugged in or does it include cable ?

Thanks

I would assume that it is just to be plugged in... by the wikipedia article I have provided up top.

I would like to not have to pay alot for a better than average connection, maybe a
 bandswitch of 100 Mbps and I don't want to pay the $300 verizon offers for that;

Thanks
