So can some one please help with this problem before my computer finds itself outside.  Thanx

Operating system / antivirus & antispyware protection / service packs installed / when did it start happening / did it ever work right / installed any new software / talked to you IT people?

You don't say what browser you are using, IE, Firefox, something else?

Try doing a clean with CCleaner (http://www.ccleaner.com) (without Yahoo! toolbar) and see if that makes a difference.

Do what CBMatt said.  Then, if you still have the problem, maybe trying a different browser makes more sense than continuing to try to resolve the problems you're having with IE.  I, and many others here, often suggest  Firefox  (http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox)as an alternative.
