Recently, I have noticed more and more often, people here are loosing their patience about questions.
We already know that 50% of the members will not post their specs.
Insulting isnt going to get anyone anywhere.
Please remember:
When it comes to new members, keep your patients.
Avoide posting things that go very off topic from the thread, especially when it goes unanswered.
Be kind. Or just plain.
Remember: The new member probably has a load of things already on their minds, specifically "How am I going to get this dang thing to work?"
Not everyone is very computer smart.
Some people only know how to turn the computer on and start MS Word.
Stay at their level. Be sure to define things clearly.

No, not to be taken that way, Raptor.
It just seems like CH gets into a routine sometimes, and then things go... weird.
I dont recall the particular post. It was probably one of those "HELP ME!!!!" users.
As far as I am concerned, you are a very neat member on ComputerHope, and well knowledges of Computers. So quite frankly, I wouldent really care overall. (I just dont like to see members saying that ComputerHope.com sucks, and that people should not come here)
But speaking of it, there should be a cap lock mod somewhere preventing users from posting in all caps.

Everyone has been doing it, I think, we've all lost karma recently.
Raptor more than anyone else though, he was on 0 earlier and 11 last time I saw.
Anyway, back on topic . . . I agree with what you're saying Zylstra, I think we all needed that reminder.
Sometimes it is hard to restrain ourselves though, we're not all blessed with unending patience and our limited reserves are tested by people who refuse to read the rules.
