Title: lost my installation cd for my printer

 I have a lexmark x1100 and have lost my installation cd. I've tried to download it from lexmark, but in the middle of downloading, it says i'm out of alotted time! I don't understand what I need to do!

Are you downloading your driver from that page?  Did you select the proper OS?  What is your OS?  Try downloading it again; does the same thing happen?  Are you on dial-up?

You could try downloading a driver from somewhere else (http://files.driverscollection.com/drivers/gf/fe372c490011be78d196216b39cd7902/L/Lexmark/Multifunctional/CJXP1100EN.exe), but you should try to get the Lexmark one to work, as we know we can trust it.

You don't say if you have a dial-up or high-speed connection.  Do you have a friend that has high-speed that could download it for you / had this time-out problem before?
