Title: Monitor goes On Stand By After Starting the Game

i have a nVidia GeFroce 6100 graphic card with 256 mb and my monitor is samsung`s syncmaster 500b ... i also have an amd athlon 1.81 ghz with 756 mr ram

problem:

when i start certain games - like sparta ancient war , for exapmple , my monitor goes to stand by mode... i can hear the game running in the background - over the speakers - but i cant make the monitor to work...

i`ve tried changing the resolution .... nope.... tried with changing refresh rates.... nope

anyone with an idea or two on how to make this a thing of the past???

PLEASE !!!

Does the game support your graphics card?
What are the requirements?
Update the graphics drivers and update the game with the latest patches.

Calum is correct the game supports a graphic art that the card dosent.
upgrade the card.

It means the GPU is all that matters...
