I recently used Active@Kill Disk to erase my old laptop drive to give to my cousin and now when I boot it up all I receive is a message saying "Operating System Not Found" Please Help Me I do not know what to do to get started.

Do you till have the (legal) CD of the OS?
You did knew that formatting is erasing ALL data including your OS.

That's correct , there is no longer any operating system installed . Either you or your cousin will have to install the operating system of choice. Go into the bios, and change the boot sequence to cd-rom first boot , exit bios,
put the bootable operating system cd into the cd -rom and reboot the machine ....... follow the instructions.

I have a copy of Windows Xp but that is all I have When I got it out of the box all It had was a cd for the user guide and a printer driver

gqgq69x ....All you need is the nice shiny MS XP ( either home or pro ) cd and the serial code which should be on the laptop somewhere. Look on the bottom ....... for a label ....with a 25 digit alpha numberic code.
