Title: Bytes or Packets displayed in NIC Status Applet?

I'm running 2000 and 2003 Server on HP and Dell servers. The NIC Status applet displays activity in units of either Bytes or Packets (I've seen both).  I want to see the activity in bytes, but it is currently set to packets.  How can the units be changed?
