I am so fed up with members being so obtuse with me i am new i can addecpt that but some comments are just ment to be kept inside your head ,it really gets to me when i spend nearly 22 hours a day on my computer and on this site , looking for problems i can solve myself as i want to move up level with my I-T skills , and i hoped this could of been my base camp for learning but it cant be , higher rankered members always see fit to look down on me and its driving me insane , i can take constructed criticism but some people just step right over the line on here.

Oh, and I haven't left computerhope, but I've been traveling and haven't had time to post.

Patio has been here for a good while and has helped 100's of people with their puter problems. He has helped me a ton as well. I ain't got nothing bad to say about Patio.*

Patio can be a little annoying but he's very helpful. =-)

Hmmm... I tried to leave Computer Hope once for that reason, but somehow I got sucked back into it (and then I felt better).
But remember if you ever want to come back, you always can :)

So far as I know it is not because of you, Jonas.
richenstony, it's your decision whether or not to stay.
As you have taken the decision to leave, I don't think it really makes a difference what we say here.
Remember though that your time spent here is voluntary, so you can't complain about annoying people - you have chosen to spend your time here, and you can leave at any time. This goes for everyone else by the way.
Hopefully I'll talk to you in a bit anyway, but so long for here.

I have to admit, I was one of those who also got fed up with the way other users would talk to, or about, someone who was looking for help...or trying to learn.
I left...twice...and came back.
I have to agree with Calum and his earlier post in this thread...you have the choice...whether or not you want to contribute or not.
For those who disrespect you...report them...you have that ability and the Administrator should be made aware of it.
Don't let it get to you...and don't be drawn in, either...no need to bring yourself down to their level.
I had issues with Raptor and he ended up visiting my forum and making unecessary posts. They were deleted...so no harm...no foul.
What I don't understand is why someone has to act so childish as to blatantly do this to another's forum and then have the nerve to brag about it to his "so-called friends". I just consider the source...
(Moderators can edit the above Raptor comment if necessary...no sweat.)
So...hang in there, Tony...I'm behind ya, bud.

Yeah I can write very formally sometimes... but I can also write very unformally. I just do that to try to make my posts clear. There are some people who write posts that you cannot understand at all (no offense to anyone by the way). ;)

As always sorry to see any member go. However, I never received one comment or complaint from this user about any of the members. If anyone has any complaints about any users they're more than welcome to send me (Computer Hope) a private message and I'll be more than happy to work it out.
Unfortunately if you simply leave because of some members on the forum and don't make any type of mention about who or what caused your decision it really does no one any good including yourself.

It is the first time I did something like that and I removed it right away.
It was just to get the attention of some new members sow they might think about Google.

Just to close this topic since richenstony hasn't commented on it. Richenstony is back he deleted his second account backfromthegrave after I told him he'd need to delete it if he planned on re-creating his old account with the same name and same e-mail.

I thought about locking it but figured it would be best to just keep it how it is and let it get buried. I figured if I locked it members may think it's some Computer Hope conspiracy and that its not letting its members speak out. ;)
But for the record I believe this issue has been resolved.
