I have a pc with xp operating system and a new mac laptop that also has Vista installed. I bought and tried using Belkin Easy Transfer Cable for Windows Vista. It transferred files from the PC to the Vista on my laptop for about two hours. It then stopped and the message was "semaphore timeout period has expired. Windows easy transfer will now be canceled." I have not had any luck reaching tech support at Belkin. I tried the program several additional times but could not get the computers to connect What do you suggest? Many thanks
