Title: WindowsXP Professional help decide

I have a sony desktop with windows xp home.I need to buy a new pc with bigger ram and hard drive to setup home network.On the new or the old pc I need to have windows server 2003 and windows xp professional so I can do more practice on my MCSE.My qoestion all the new pc right now comes with windows Vista,do I need to do server 2003 and xp professional  on the old sony pc or the new pc.My second question if I need also get rid off the windows xp home version so I will upgrade to windows xp professionl.The type of windows xp professional should I buy  the OEM,Upgrade or retail version.I might need to upgrade first the xp home then make clean installation on the new pc.Depends on what type of version of the xp professsional which one can I do all these tasks.
