Title: pricing and about vista

okay I dont know that much about this stuff. I want to eventually build a computer and I want to know, will vista be as good as XP is soon and be able to run more programs, or is it better just to get xp, and about how much does xp cost?

Cheaper (and more stable) than Vista.
